FLOTSAM releases in 20 days. I feel like it's so much closer by the way things are picking up speed behind the scenes. Most of my blog tour essays are done, and now I turn my anxious thoughts to organizing in-person events. This past weekend was v.v.exciting! The paperbacks that Amazon decided to ship out started arriving, and while it was annoying to have an unexpected soft launch of the book, it was WAY too exciting to see people receiving their copies and posting photos on social media! I will never get over that excitement! Around the same time, a lot of book news websites were sending out their March book preview lists and FLOTSAM was listed with an amazing array of authors whose work I admire, sending me right over the moon! I'm keeping track of all the spots my book was mentioned on my Events & Appearances page. Thanks to all this, the team at Parvus Press and I had a lot of fun watching FLOTSAM sail up the Steampunk Top 100 and Top New Releases for a few days! Things are settling down again, as such things happen, but it felt like a little mini preview of the excitement ahead when the book makes its true release.
