I knew this would be a big week.

Sunday morning I shifted focus to completing the Grammarly/ProWritingAid pass on Flotsam so I could hopefully time another print proof with the final artwork I knew would be coming from Julie Dillon before the week was out. Yesterday I was kicking serious ass, moving through the proposed adverb slaughter (ignoring most) efficiently (see what I did there?) and figured I was on track to finish up this pass by Wednesday morning. Last night I got the final artwork from Julie Dillon, though, which kicked me into apparent full throttle, because I was awake and at it again earlier than ever this morning. Before I left for the day job, I completed my pass! I fiddled a bit with my Vellum files but didn't have time to really get anywhere, so there's a bit more to do on that front. I know you want to see the cover, but I still have to format it and add typography before I can do an official reveal. I do plan to let my Street Team see that first, so you'll have a bit of a wait before I show it off publicly. Which is going to be so hard for me, because I absolutely adore the cover illustration and can't wait to share it! Next step for Flotsam is to order what I hope will be the final print proof. Then I will give that a read through just to catch anything else. While I wait for the print book I'll add in another kindle pass with my vellum files for good measure. Holy rabies, people, this book is almost DONE.
